Melissa Lenox, Founder + Principal Designer
Melissa whole heartedly believes that a space can transform the way you live and feel. Equally visionary and pragmatic, Melissa's aim is to bring authenticity to each project to create a home that is a unique expression of who her clients are and what they love. The end result: highly functional spaces that are sophisticated, timeless and above all, livable.
Before making a career switch to Interior Design, Melissa's background was in business and marketing. Realizing this was not her long-term ideal, Melissa decided to pursue Interior Design including obtaining a degree in Interior Architecture and Design from the University of California of Berkeley. With the combination of her backgrounds in business and interior design Melissa brings along a unique set of skills. She is known not only for her creation of beautiful spaces but also for her ability to set goals, manage budgets and meet deadlines.
After 5 successful years with a prestigious architecture and interiors firm in San Francisco, she founded her company, Melissa Lenox Design, in 2009. An unexpected turn of events relocated her to Charleston, SC where she continues to pursue her passion for residential design focusing on ground up new construction projects and large-scale renovations.
